Vehicle equipment
This chapter describes all standard, national
and special equipment provided in the model
series. Equipment not available in the vehicle is
therefore also described, for example the se‐
lected special equipment or national version.
This also applies to safety-relevant functions
and systems. Comply with the relevant na‐
tional regulations when using the correspond‐
ing functions and systems.
▷ The current position cannot be displayed?
The vehicle is in an area not covered by the
data, is in a poor reception area or the sys‐
tem is currently calculating the position.
Reception will normally be possible out‐
doors.
▷ A destination without a street is not trans‐
ferred to the route guidance system?
No city centre can be determined for the
place entered.
Enter any street in the place selected and
start route guidance.
▷ A destination is not transferred to the route
guidance system?
The data for the destination is not available
in the navigation data. Choose a destina‐
tion as close as possible to the original
one.
▷ Letters cannot be selected for destination
input?
The data stored do not contain the desti‐
nation data.
Choose a destination as close as possible
to the original one.
▷ Spoken instructions cease to be given im‐
mediately before junctions during route
guidance?
Area is not fully recorded, or you have devi‐
ated from the suggested route and the
system requires a few seconds to calculate
a new route.
