Deleting connection of the remote
control
The connection with the vehicle may be de‐
leted.
1. "Settings"
2. "Headphones/remote"
3. Highlight the remote control to be deleted.
4. Calling up"Options".
5. "Remove device"
Selecting page
A remote control can be connected to the left
or right side of the rear entertainment. The
side can be changed at any time.
Push switch to the left or right.
The corresponding side is operated.
Changing the batteries
No rechargeable batteries
Do not use rechargeable batteries, other‐
wise their contents can cause damage.◀
1. Remove the cover. To do so, press the
cover, arrow 1, and push forwards, arrow 2.
2. Insert batteries of the same type.
3. Close the cover.
Dispose of old batteries at an author‐
ised collecting point or hand them in to
a Service Centre.
Headphones and vehicle
loudspeakers
To select an entertainment source on a screen
in the rear irrespective of the selection made at
the front, the sound must be played back via
headphones.
If sound playback via loudspeakers is set on
the screens then the selection made for the
sound source for the vehicle loudspeakers can
be made both at front and in rear. A corre‐
sponding priority can be set in the rear enable,
see page
78 , for these situations.
Changing over
Changing over between headphones and loud‐
speakers is performed using the options.
1. Calling up"Options".
2. Select desired sound output.
"Headphones" or "Loudspeakers"
Behaviour when changing over from
vehicle loudspeakers to headphones
Behaviour of the headphones
The headphones initially remain muted. An en‐
tertainment source must be selected on the
screen in question.
Behaviour of the vehicle loudspeakers
▷ Changeover to headphones on only one
screen in the rear: sound output of the ve‐
hicle loudspeakers does not change.
▷ Changeover to headphones on both
screens in the rear:
▷ If the entertainment source of the vehi‐
cle loudspeakers can be operated us‐
ing the front Controller, the sound out‐
put from the vehicle loudspeakers does
not change.
▷ If the entertainment source of the vehi‐
cle loudspeakers cannot be operated
using the front Controller, the sound
