1. "A-Z search"
2. Select where points of interest should be
searched for.

▷ "At another destination"
▷ "Along the route"
3. Enter search term.
4. "OK"
The list of points of interest is displayed.
The points of interest can be sorted alpha‐
betically by name or by distance.

5. Select a point of interest.
Details are displayed.
If several details are included, you can
browse through the tabs.
▷ Establish telephone connection.
▷ Additional information about many
points of interest via BMW Online.
▷ Save points of interest as a contact
in the address book.
6. Select the symbol.
"Start guidance" or "Add as another dest."
Add destination as a further destination,
see page
16 .
"Start search": without entering a search term,
the search is repeated using the last stored
search term.
Category search
1. "Category search"
2. Select where points of interest should be
searched for.
▷ "At current location"
▷ "At destination"
▷ "At another destination"
▷ "Along the route"
3. "All categories" or select preferred point of
interest category.
4. Select category details if necessary.
The list of points of interest is displayed.
The points of interest can be sorted alpha‐
betically by name or by distance.
The list can be restricted using a keyword
search.

5. Select a point of interest.
Details are displayed.
If several details are included, you can
browse through the tabs.

Preferred point of interest categories
Point of interest categories that have been
searched for most frequently are displayed.
When route guidance is active, points of inter‐
est along the route are displayed. When route
guidance is not active, points of interest in the
vicinity are displayed.
The preferred point of interest categories are
also offered in the map view, see page
24 .
Displaying points of interest
List of points of interest: points of interest can
be sorted alphabetically by name or by dis‐
tance. An arrow points towards point of inter‐
est.
