12.3 Profiles
Here you will find all settings relating to the activity profiles.
12.3.1 Change activity profile
Here you can change the bicycle profile. Four profiles are available to you and you can configure them yourself.
Select the profile you want (bicycle 1-3 and pedestrian profile) and confirm with
.
12.3.2 Edit activity profile
Here you can edit the bicycle profile which is currently chosen, and also view all of the statistics for this profile.
To do this, first select the bicycle profile you want to edit.
You have the following options for editing the current profile:
Bike type
- Select the bike type for this profile here. The route calculation and the maps used will be adapted
for you based on this specification.
Here you will find the overall riding or walking performance and the total ascent already
accomplished with
this
profile. You can also correct these details by tapping on
.
12.4 System / General
Here you can make various settings relating to the device. To do this, click on the menu on
Settings >
System / General
.
The following options can be changed:
12.4.1 Battery
Use the Battery option to view the remaining battery capacity for your mobile navigation device. While
the device is charging, a hint appears above the display of the current battery capacity.
12.4.2 GPS Info
GPS Info indicates the GPS reception signal strength at the current location. Adequate GPS reception
is essential for any navigation.
Tap the
GPS Info
button to carry out a test of the GPS reception of your mobile navigation device. An
info page with information about the existing GPS connection and your current position as well as the altitude
and speed is displayed.
The colouring provides you with information about the GPS status at a quick glance:

Red
: GPS signal is not sufficiently strong to allow positioning. Signals are being received from fewer than 3
satellites.

Yellow
: GPS signal is sufficiently strong to allow positioning, but not sufficiently strong to allow the current
elevation to be determined. Signals are being received from 3 satellites.

Green
: A high-quality GPS signal is being received that allows your elevation to be determined. Signals are
being received from at least 4 satellites.
