4.3.6.C Setting Up Additional Users
To set up “accounts” (names, passwords, access privileges, and logout times)
for other users, access the Administrator Functions Menu and take these steps:
1. Select “Setup User

is the user number; we recommend starting
with User 1 and working your way up.
2. Choose “Name,” then enter the name for this user.
3. Choose “Password,” then enter and confirm the password for this user.
(Passwords are not case sensitive.)
4. Choose “Access.” In this submenu, you will see a listing of all attached servers
in the channel list. For each server, choose a level of access for this user by
selecting one of the function keys listed on the screen: [F5] for no access,
[F6] for video only, or [F7] for video and keyboard/mouse capability (full
access). The default setting is full access. All changes go into effect as soon as
they are made. Press [Enter] when you have completed your configuration.
5. Choose “Logout Time.” Enter a logout time from 0 to 60. Values from 1 to 60
set the user’s logout time to the corresponding number of minutes. When the
logout time is set to 0 (zero), the user is never logged out (can remain logged
on indefinitely). The default setting is 5 minutes.
6. Press [Enter] to accept and save your selections.
7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for each remaining user.
