don’t Show empty Zones
Each zone can be programmed with zero to sixteen channels.
Zones with no channels can be hidden from view by selecting ‘Don’t
Show Empty Zones’.
Zones that are made up of unprogrammed channels are not
considered empty and can not be hidden from view.
default data loaded
Select what data you would like loaded on
startup. Available options are:
Factory Default
- This selection will open the
program with no channel or global information
loaded.
User Default
- This selection opens the radio
editor pre-loaded with radio default information
designated by the programmer. To assign a file
to be used as the default setting:
Read the information from a programmed 1.
radio; or open an existing file.
Make the desired setting changes, if any. 2.
Click the “File” menu at the upper left of 3.

Last Data Displayed
- This selection opens the
program with the data settings that were shown
when the program was closed.
Always Prompt for Selection
- Each time the
software is started, the user will be prompted
to select, Factory Default, User Default or Last
Data Displayed.

By selecting a default radio type, the radio editor will open ready to
program the selected type.
