Usage of MODE and SELECT Button
After a retry (drive accesses retry) has occurred in the Read
/
Write process, you can push the
SELECT switch to see the retry message.

When [ONE DRIVE DOWN] or [SYSTEM DOWN] status occurs, you can hit the select button to see the
Sense Data sub-message. If you hit MODE and SELECT switches simultaneously twice, the retry
message will disappear. (But the sub-message will remain.)
If it happens again, you can assume something’s wrong with the drive or the host. You should
contact support for service.
