INSTALLATION MANUAL
18) START-UP
Fig. 15
- Power the electronic board. The “
S0
” indication is displayed; unmanaged sensor test Fig. 15.1.
- After that, the blinking indication “
E1
” is displayed Fig. 15.2.
- Press the “
-
” button until the “
LP
” indication is displayed Fig. 15.3.
- Press ENT; the “

” indication is displayed Fig. 15.4.
- Press the ENT button again, until the display segments start turning, then release ENT. The “
St
” indication is now displayed. The control unit waits for 10 seconds,
then it starts the learning procedure Fig. 15.5.
NOTE: the automation requires no opening stop, but in this case during the Lp procedure you need to stop the door at the desired opening angle, to let
the system store it.
- The automation performs an opening and a closing cycle for parameter measuring, then it shall move to its closed position on the fi xed
CL
display.
The automation is ready to operate, and you'll be able to use the ENTER button to issue a door opening command Fig. 15.6.
WARNING:
The opening angle, during normal operation, shall be reduced compared with the one detected during the target acquisition procedure, to allow operation in the
absence of the mechanical limit switch.
On each restart (RESET operation), when the fi rst commend is issued the automation tries to reach the full opening position, then it closes at reduced speed.
19) CONTROLS AND SAFETY SENSORS CONNECTION
Fig. 16
The control unit allows to connect the safety sensors, both monitored according to standard EN 16005 and not monitored.
It is the installer's responsibility to assess which and how many sensors should be installed.
C- Inner side opening control sensor (see diagram Fig. 16.1)
D- Outer side opening control sensor (see diagram Fig. 16.2)
E- Power supply (see the paragraph “ELECTRIC POWER CONNECTION”)
F- Logics selector
A- Safety closing sensor (see diagram Fig. 16.3)
B- Safety opening sensor (see diagram Fig. 16.4)
N.B.
: the safety sensors A and B are monitored sensors. For this sensor type the installation solutions may be:
- safety closing sensor A only
- safety opening sensor B only
- both A and B safety closing and opening sensors.
After performing the connection, you need to set parameter 18 as follows:
- safety closing sensor A only - level 1
- safety opening sensor B only - level 2
- both A and B safety closing and opening sensors - level 3.
At start-up, the control unit shall signal the sensor confi guration type, as specifi ed in the following table:
ID
CONFIGURATION
DESCRIPTION
S0
No monitored sensor detected
There are no sensors, or the connected sensors, if any, are managed as normal non-moni-
tored sensors.
S1
Sensor only monitored during
opening
The sensor only monitored during opening is managed. For the closing stage there is no
sensor, or any connected sensor shall be managed as a normal non-monitored sensor.
S2
Sensor only monitored during
closing
The sensor only monitored during closing is managed. For the opening stage there is no
sensor, or any connected sensor shall be managed as a normal non-monitored sensor.
S3
Sensor monitored during both
the opening and the closing
stage
The sensor monitored during both the opening and closing stage is managed.
In case of incorrect connection or of sensor malfunction, a blinking “F” is displayed on the control unit, followed by a number:
F1
Sensore monitorato solo in
apertura
The safety opening sensor is not connected or does not work properly
F2
Sensore monitorato solo in
chiusura
The safety closing sensor is not connected or does not work properly
F3
Sensore monitorato sia in
apertura che in chiusura
The safety opening and closing sensors are not connected or do not work properly
DANGER!
