Motorized transom for automatic leaf doors, complete with control board. Ac-
cessories are available for a full installation.

3) ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SETUP
Set up the electrical system (Fig. 1) referring to the regulations in force. Keep the
mains power supply connections strictly separated from the service connections
(photocells, sensitive edges, control devices, etc.).
Keep the mains power supply connections strictly separated from the safety
extra low voltage connections.

7) POSSIBLE INSTALLATIONS

With pull SLIDE ARM, used when the automation is installed on the door open-
ing side.
- With push ARTICULATED ARM, used when the automation is installed opposite
to the door opening side.
7.1) SLIDE ARM INSTALLATION

A - DRILLING THE CABLE PASSAGE HOLES
For the fastening holes use an adhesive or base template. Holes shall be appropri-
ate for the screw type in use (not supplied). Drill holes for cable passage in the
area specifi ed in the image.
For correct positioning always use the axis of the leaf hinges as the main
reference.

Use screws that are appropriate for the guide securing fi xture (not supplied).

C - GLIDER PRE-ASSEMBLY
Pre-assemble the glider as shown in the image and insert it into the guide (if needed
install the optional mechanical stop). Install the closing headers and the cover.
The cover can be opened by loosening the screw “A” and unscrewing the screw
“B”; this will allow to operate the guide securing screws “C”.

WARNING!
The screw highlighted and marked with an “X” is the mechanical
fastener of the spring; it SHALL NEVER BE REMOVED before the spring pre-load
choice procedure is completed and before the arm is coupled with the leaf and
with the automation.
- Factory pre-load A (Torque value ~14,0 Nm - use a torque wrench) Fig. 6.D.1.
Install the arm with the leaf at its closed position and
secure it to the automation
with the relevant M8
screw, then follow the fi nal fastening diagram.
- Medium pre-load B (Torque value ~12,0 Nm - use a torque wrench) Fig. 6.D.2.
Starting from the closed leaf position (max. pre-load), the arm shall be turned
by 3 teeth in the opening direction and
secured to the automation with the
relevant M8
screw; then follow the fi nal fastening diagram.
- Minimum pre-load C (Torque value ~10,0 Nm - use a torque wrench) Fig. 6.D.3.
Starting from the closed leaf position (max. pre-load), the arm shall be
turned
by 6 teeth in the opening direction and secured to the automation with the
relevant M8 screw
; then follow the fi nal fastening diagram.
E - FINAL FASTENING DIAGRAM
- Screw the arm to the leaf by coupling the threaded hole of the arm with the glider
shaft (Screw tightening torque M8 = 20Nm - use a torque wrench). According
to the pre-load you chose, the position shall be the following: see table Fig 6.E.1
- After connecting the arm to both the automation and the leaf, and after
checking that all fastening operations have been performed, remove the spring
fastener - see Fig 6.E.2
- Tighten the screw into the “screw holding” hole, as shown in Fig. 6.E.3

install the articulated arm starting from the closed door position and
NEVER remove the spring pre-load lock screw
while the arm installation
procedure is in progress; the screw shall ONLY be removed after choosing the
pre-load to be used and properly completing the procedure.
The above procedure also applies to the doors whose leaf opens to the right, but
operations shall be reversed.

WARNING!
The screw highlighted and marked with an “X” is the mechanical
fastener of the spring; it SHALL NEVER BE REMOVED before the spring pre-load
choice procedure is completed and before the arm is coupled with the leaf and
with the automation.

leaf position (max. pre-load), the arm tip shall be released by removing the articu-
lated joint (see image), then the
NON-telescopic section
(the one secured to the
automation) shall be
turned by 3 teeth in the opening direction and screwed
back to the automation
. Once the operation is completed the telescopic section
(secured to the leaf ) and the fi xed arm section shall be coupled back by reinstalling
the articulated joint. Once the operation is completed the leaf shall be slightly
open, as shown in the image (
LOCKED BY THE SPRING FASTENING SCREW
).

tion, starting from the closed leaf position (max. pre-load), the arm tip shall be
released by removing the articulated joint (see detail), then the

turned by 6 teeth in the
opening direction and screwed back to the automation
. Once the operation is
completed the telescopic section (secured to the leaf ) and the fi xed arm section
shall be coupled back by reinstalling the articulated joint. Once the operation
is completed the leaf shall be slightly open, as shown in the image (LOCKED BY
THE SPRING FASTENING SCREW)

Connect the two arm sections to each other, carefully check that all fastening
operations have been performed, then remove the spring fastener
