Mantenere la candela in buono stato contribuisce alla diminuzione dei consumi e
all’ottimale funzionamento del motore.
Per effettuare il controllo è sufficiente sfilare la pipetta della corrente e svitare la
candela.
Esaminare con uno spessimetro la distanza fra gli elettrodi che dovrà essere di
0,5-0,6 mm, nel caso non corrisponda a questo valore è possibile correggerla
piegando l’elettrodo di massa.
Verificare inoltre che non presenti screpolature sull’isolante o elettrodi corrosi, in
questi casi procedere all’immediata sostituzione.

Per il montaggio della candela è consigliabile avvitarla a mano fino a battuta,
quindi bloccarla con la chiave.

L’utilizzo di oli di bassa qualità determina l’aumento dei depositi carboniosi, è
quindi consigliabile utilizzare olio BARDHAL KXT.

Si raccomanda di utilizzare sempre candele NGK BR7ES.

Il controllo deve essere eseguito con temperatura del componente di circa 20°C.
Il controllo può essere eseguito anche con generatore montato sulla moto o sul
motore.
Scollegare il connettore nero 12 vie tra generatore e CDI.
Verificare con un multimetro che le resistenze lette tra i terminali indicati sotto siano
nel range prescritto:
•
nero-bianco (Pick-Up)
320 ohm ± 15%
•
rosso-blu (carica condensatore)
300 ohm ± 15 %
•
giallo-marrone (alimentazione servizi)
0,45 ohm ± 20%
