6.3.2.4 Keypad/LCD Display Replacement

The Keypad/LCD Display is part of the front panel assembly.The entire assembly
must be replaced. Refer to Figures 32 and 33.

Required Materials

Medium Phillips Screwdriver

Small Flathead Screwdriver

Remove the

Front Panel

1 U n s c r e w the two phillips screws under the Keypad/LCD Display.

2 D i s c o n n e c t the wide flat ribbon cable.

3 D i s c o n n e c t the d-shaped connector (use the small flathead screwdriver to

loosen the screw locks).

4 D i s c o n n e c t the barcode scanner and remove the panel assembly.

5 R e p l a c e the front panel by reversing the above steps. Be sure to reattach all

cables when replacing the front panel.
