The order designation indicates whether an encoder outputs incremental signals:
• EnDat 01 with 1 V

Connection of HEIDENHAIN EnDat-interfaces to the EL5032
The EL5032 can only be connected to measuring instruments that support a clock frequency of 8
MHz. This corresponds to the order designation EnDat22.
Encoders with the ordering designation EnDat02 can be operated at 8MHz on the EL5032 without
incremental signals using an appropriate adapter cable.
