(one-time coupling of both interfaces) by pressing and holding of the start
button and the insertion of the battery at the same time. When the device is
paired the start button has to be pressed for 5 seconds in order to access the
communication mode.

Prepare the recorder using the desired settings via the HMS CS (see chapter
4.8).
■
If you use single-use electrodes you can now put the electrode cable into the
port of the device. The recorder detects the cable and an audible signal will
sound.

After the preparation of the patient the control recording is carried out (training).
The ECG recording can be transferred in real-time to the HMS CS via Bluetooth.
Patient and staff receive an immediate overview of the correct positioning of
the electrodes on the chest wall. When using the device electrodes, the correct
positioning and the correctly applied pressure can be determined and indicated
to the patient. Follow the description in chapter 4.8.7

The device can be carried on the belt using the provided bag.

Finally the patient should be informed about the carry-period, the replacement of
electrodes and batteries and the triggering of ECG recordings.

In case you are using the case electrodes on the back of the device, please
consider the conduction displayed in the following figure. The device is posi-
tioned on the chest with the start button facing up.
