INSTALLING ON BOYLER
The di mensions of the gas adduction pipeline should be in function with it’s length and with gas delivery according to UNI re gu la tions;
It must be per fe ctly hermetic and ade qua tely tested be fore the burner is general in spection. It is indispensable to install a suitable pi pe
union in the pipeline, in proximity to the burner, to allow for easy di sas sembly of the burner and opening of the boiler door.
The burner is equipped with a moun ting flange which
slips on the burner head. When applying the burner
to the boiler, it is necessary to correctly po sition the
flange so that the burner head enters the furnace to
the extent spe cified by the boiler manufacture. When
the burner has been correctly fa stened to the boiler,
proceed with con necting in to the gas pipeline. The
DUNGS mod. MB... valve in cor porates a filter and a gas
pressure stabilizer and, therefore, only a cut-off cock
and an anti-vibration joint have to be fitted onto the gas
adduction pipeline. Only if the gas pressure were above
the maximum value allowed by local regulations would
it be necessary to install a pressure reducer on the gas
pipeline outside the heating plant. We advise installing a
bend directly onto the burner gas ramp before applying
the removable fitting. This layout makes it possible to
open the boiler door, if there is one, after the fitting itself
has been opened. The above is clearly illustrated in the
following drawing (see BT 8871/GB).

1) Lock the flange B on the tube of the burner via
the supplied screw A and nut C (n° 2 x BTG 20).
2) Position the insulating seal E on the tube,
interposing the cord F between flange and seal.
3) Finally, fix the burner to the boiler via the 4
stud bolts and relative nuts (supplied).
N.B. Make sure the tube penetrates into
the combustion chamber as per the boiler
manufacturer’s instructions.
