Thank you for purchasing BACKNETIX® WRAP, the neck
and back wrap that applies heat and massage to help relieve
tension.
Before using the product for the first time, please read all
these instructions so you use the product correctly.
1. WARNINGS
Read the instructions carefully
before using the device for the
first time. Store them for future
reference.
It is absolutely essential for the
user not to fall asleep while wearing the
electric wrap.
If the wrap is worn for long time periods, the
temperature selector should be set to the
continuous position.
Do not use the electric wrap in a folded
position! Do not scrunch the wrap up!
Do not stick pins into the electric wrap!
Do not use the electric wrap on animals!
Electric Shock Hazard!
Connect and use the device only if the mains
supply complies with the information on the
device’s rating plate.
Check the electric wrap regularly to see if
it shows signs of wear or damage. Do not
connect the device to the mains if the power
cable, temperature selector, plug or the wrap
itself shows any visible signs of damage.
If the device is broken, unplug it immediately.
To prevent hazardous situations, any repairs
or work on the device should be done by a
qualified technician from the brand’s official
technical support service.
Check the device’s power cable regularly:
Make sure it never makes contact with hot
objects or parts.
Do no expose it to sharp edges or corners.
Use the electric wrap
only in dry rooms
(i.e.
do not use it in the bathroom or similar places).
Do not use the electric wrap
if it is wet or
damp
! Ensure the device is completely dry
before using it.
The wrap creates low-intensity electrical and
magnetic fields that can have a negative effect on
pacemaker functions. We therefore recommend
contacting your doctor or the manufacturer of the
electric wrap before using it.
Danger of Overheating!
Do not use the electric wrap
without the
supervision
of someone who knows how to
use the device!
Do not cover the temperature selector.
To ensure the temperature selector works
properly, it should never be placed on top of
or under the electric wrap. Nor should it be
covered by any other object.
Never wrap the power cord around the
temperature selector!
Continuous use of the electric wrap at high
temperatures may cause burns to the skin.
Danger of Injury!
The electric wrap should not be used by the
disabled, people who need assistance or
those who are insensitive to heat. It should
not be used by young children.
Do not allow persons with restricted physical
sensory perception or mental abilities or with
lack of experience and knowledge to operate
the device unless they are supervised or have
been instructed on the use of the appliance by
somebody who is responsible for their safety.
Keep out of reach of children. Supervise children
to prevent them from playing with the device.
When storing the appliance, allow it to cool
down before folding;
Examine the appliance frequently for signs
of wear or damage. If there are such signs,
if the appliance has been misused or does
not work, return it to the supplier before
switching it on again;
This appliance is not intended for medical
use in hospitals;
Children under the age of three are not to
use this appliance due to their inability to
react to overheating.
The appliance is not to be used by young
children over the age of three unless the
controls have been pre-set by a parent
or guardian, or unless the child has been
adequately instructed on how to operate the
controls safely.
The appliance has a heated surface.
Persons insensitive to heat must be careful
when using the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
