2.1 Connecting the Probe
A rigid stainless steel probe with handle is connected to a flexible hose with an integral
water trap/filter and is used to draw a gas sample into the analyzer from the room,
grilles, diffusers, and furnace flues.
1.
Inspect the flexible hose for cracks. If a hose is defective, replace the entire probe assembly.
2.
Before using the analyzer, check that the water trap/filter is clean and dry. If necessary,
dry out the trap and replace the filter element.
3. Push the probe’s “sample gas” tubing onto the GAS inlet connector.
