11. Accesories
11.1. Clock card

This accessory can be connected to the
T e m p u s I I I , a n d i t i s u s e d f o r s p e c i f i c
a p p l i c a t i o n s w h e r e a r e a l t i m e c l o c k i s
necessary, such as places where there are
promotions according to the time of day
(
happy hour ). It also serves to provide a free
service per day or in order to apply a second
rate during a specific time.
In addition, the Tempus III uses the clock
c a r d f o r d i s c o u n t i n g t h e t i m e w i t h o u t
interruption when it is operating in the 24- or
48-hour mode, even though the power load
device may be disconnected at those times.
In order to enable the clock card according to a schedule, access programming for the
Tempus III and proceed as described in the programming sections for the various operating
modes.
The clock card must be connected with the Tempus III turned off.
The clock card must be connected at connector JP2 of the control card + power supply .
To do so, disconnect the display cable bundle, and install the clock card in its place. Then
connect the cable bundle to the
clock card , as shown in the following figure.
