PHOTOCOPY CONTROL "A" Mode
This operating mode of the
Tempus III
is used for applications where it is necessary for the
machine to be controlled to be active while there are still impulses to be used. The machine
will be responsible for informing the Tempus III (by bridging pins 3 and 4 of connector JP4).
For this, the
Tempus III
needs information about the end of the service so that it can thus
disconnect it from the accumulated amount that the display shows and, if it is the last one,
cease to enable the power load.
It will be necessary to program the value of the service prices in the
Tempus III
(two
different rates), and it will be in charge of supplying the impulses according to the credit
introduced. It concludes when it obtains confirmation that the last service has been
executed.
When the credit reaches the programmed value of the service price, the
Tempus III
simultaneously activates the
relays K1 and K2
, and it remains this way until the number of
services conceded have been completely discounted.
Operating in the photocopier A control mode consists of selling impulses
that activate an input to enable the power load. The impulse will end when
confirmation of the end of the last service is obtained through an outside
input.
The main characteristics are the following:
Price programming per photocopy, with two rates.
Permanent indication of the number of pending photocopies.
Connection of the relays if there is credit for impulses.
Disconnection of the relays if there is no credit for impulses.
The blocking of coin units programmable by the user.
Filtering of the photocopy signal: minimum of 30 milliseconds of a stable, active
signal.
The possibility of two programmable rates with different prices.
Direct viewing of the accounting.
