This operating mode of the Tempus III is used for applications where the services require

times of various minutes or even hours.  For this, it is necessary to program the value of the
price/time of the service and the device that is in charge of supplying the time equivalent to
the credit introduced, as long as it is equal to or exceeds the minimum introduction of coins
(which is a programmable quantity).

Operating in the Timer A mode consists of the sale of a period of time

encompassed between 1 minute and 100 hours (99 hours and 59
minutes).

When the credit reaches the programmed value of the minimum coin introduction, the

timer simultaneously activates the

relays K1 and K2

, and they remain activated until the time

conceded is fully discounted.

The main characteristics of this working mode, and which indicate its functionality, are the

following:

Representation on the display of the time accumulated in "hours.minutes" and

discounting of each minute.

The possibility of erasing the accumulated time (by function).

The possibility of a free sale (free service) without changing the accounting.

The blocking of coin units programmable by the user.

Programming the brightness of the display.

Stopping of the discount time (except under the 24/48 hour promotion) if the outside

device is not operating.

Two possibilities of confirming activation of the outside device:

Consumption sensor

By bridging pins 3 and 4 of the connector JP4

Illuminated confirmation of the consumption sensor adjustment.   While the device is

not activated, the indicator must be off, and if the device is active, the indicator must
be on.  Adjust using the potentiometer.

The possibility of programming a minimum introduction of money in order to concede

the first time.

Direct activation through the outside input of relays K1 and K2 on connector JP3.

When the two pins of JP3 are bridged, two cases may arise:

If there is no time, the Timer activates both relays.
If there is time, the Timer does not discount.
