set system name
User level: privileged, supervisor.
Use the
set system name
command to set the mib2 system name MIB variable.
Syntax:
The syntax for this command is:
set system name [<string>]
Example:
W310-1#
set system location “tech-support”

The system name string should be typed inside quotation
marks (“”).
•
Omitting this variable clears the system name.
!
To define a name that includes spaces, you must enclose
the entire name in quotation marks, for example “new
york”.
