Commissioning (basic settings)
1.
Set selector switch to position 0 (OFF).
Information: The selector switch is not a mains switch. When positioned to 0
(OFF), the actuator cannot be operated. The controls' power supply is
maintained.
2.
Switch on the power supply.
Information: Observe heat-up time for ambient temperatures below –30 °C.
3.
Perform basic settings.
9.1.
Heat-up time for low temperature version
Please note that for low temperature versions, the controls require a heat-up time.
This heat-up time applies if both actuators and actuator controls are not live and
temperature falls below the permissible operation and storage temperature of –30 °C.
Under these conditions and after connection to the voltage supply, the following
heat-up times must be complied with prior to commissioning:
For –30 °C = 5 min.
For –40 °C = 40 min.
For –60 °C = 80 min.

Type of seating: set
Valve damage due to incorrect setting!

The type of seating setting (limit or torque seating) must match the selection for
the valve.

Only change the setting with prior consent of the valve manufacturer.
