5.5.3 Alarm Banner
The Alarm Banner displays the current value of the selected modules alarms. An associated alarm icon; red for major and
amber for minor; is tagged at the end of each line when there is at least one alarm detected.
5.6 Slot Provision Page
The Slot Provision page is accessed from the Chassis Status or Chassis Alarm page by clicking on “Provision” next to
the desired Slot number. The module provision page is only available for selected modules with settable parameters. Five
banners are shown on the page.
1. Chassis Model: shows the selected chassis controller module serial number
2. Slot (#) displays the module type populated in the selected slot
3. Factory Information
4. Provision
5. Response
The top part of the page displays the chassis information, slot information and module factory information. Below will
describe the Provision and Response banner interface.
5.6.1 Provision for Release 4.4 & Older
The Provision section allows a user to enter a modification request for each parameter in the provided text box. The text
syntax follows the same format utilized for the CLI commands outlined in section 4. Once a command has been entered,
click on the Submit button to issue the command. At any time, you may click on the Readback button to retrieve information.
This would be helpful to display the current setting prior to submitting a new setting. The information and response is
displayed in the Response Box.
