Insulation pads for SUNTEST
Insulation pads prevent the formation of condensate on the
housing of the SUNTEST unit.
NOTE - Adhesion:
Since the insulation pads are highly adhesive and difficult
to remove after attachment, it is recommended to mark
the positions of the pads before attaching them to the
surface.
Procedure:
1. Clean the housing surface with a conventional cleaning
agent. The contact surfaces must be dry and free from
grease and dust.
2. Mark the position, remove the backing tape, and at-
tach the insulation pads.

Establishing the mains connection
WARNING - Electric shock:
Contact with current-carrying components may cau-
se a lethal electric shock.
Before connecting the unit to the mains, check pro-
tective plug and power supply line for damage.
If the power supply line or the protective plug is da-
maged, do not connect the unit to the mains and con-
tact Technical Service immediately.
The power supply of the SunCool
TM
is achieved with a pro-
tective plug with the following ratings:
•
115 V ± 10% at 60 Hz.
•
230 V ± 10% at 50 Hz.
The mains supply must be protected by a 16 A fuse.
Procedure:
1. Check the supply voltage of the mains supply system.
The supply voltage must comply with the rated voltage
on the nameplate of the unit.
2. Make sure that the mains supply system is protected
by a 16 A fuse.
A mains supply system that is not properly fused may
cause an electric shock if a failure occurs.
3. Connect the protective plug to a properly grounded and
fused mains socket.
