7.3
Replacement of the air filter
NOTE:
To ensure sufficient ventilation and cooling of the unit, the
ventilation openings and the air filter must be cleaned at an
interval of 14 days.
The procedure for replacing the air filter depends on the
version used (115 V / 230 V).
7.3.1 Replacement of the air filter, version 115V / 60Hz
Removal:
1. Remove the connection socket

2. Pull out the filter grid

by grasping the recess at the
bottom of the grid and and raise the grid.
3. Slightly lift the air filter

and remove it from the sup-
port frame.
4. Clean and dry the air filter as described in section 7.2.2.
Installation:
1. Insert the air filter into the support frame.
2. Lower the grid and press the bottom of the grid against
the housing until the grid is properly engaged.
3. Check to see if the grid is properly seated.
7.3.2 Replacement of the air filter, version 230V / 50Hz
Removal:
1. Remove the connection socket

2. Grasp the grip

of the air filter

and pull the filter out
to the right.
3. Clean and dry the air filter as described in section 7.2.2.
Installation:
1. Slide the air filter behind the filter grid so that the lette-
ring FRONT is visible.
2. Check to see if the air filter is properly seated.

Contact with current-carrying components may cau-
se a lethal electric shock.
For all cleaning works, turn the unit off, pull out the
mains plug, and protect unit against reconnection.
