4.1
Checking the trough plug
The condensate forming during the operation of the unit is
collected in a trough at the bottom of the unit. The con-
densate evaporates during normal operation of the unit.
A plug at the trough prevents the water from escaping.
Before the initial operation of the unit, make sure that the
plug is installed.

Visual inspection
Prior to the installation of the unit, check to see if the refri-
gerant circulation system is working properly. There must
be no coolant leakages.
WARNING - Health hazard:
Contact with refrigerant may cause injuries to
the skin and to the mucous membranes.
Avoid contact with refrigerant. Wear protecti-
ve gloves and discard escaped refrigerant as
special waste.

After contact with refrigerant, rinse refrigerant off with
plenty of running water.
•
After a refrigerant leakage, do not operate the unit and
contact Technical Service.
