Connection line and dummy plug

Connection line:

The connection line is used to control the SunCool

TM

 by

using the program control of the weathering unit SUNTEST
CPS+ or SUNTEST XLS+.

Dummy plug:

If the SunCool

TM

is operated in connection with a SUN-

TEST CPS or SUNTEST XLS (without program control),
the connection socket of the SunCool

TM

 is capped with a

dummy plug.

5.4.1 Connecting the connection line

:

 NOTE:

When operating the SunCool

TM

 with a SUNTEST CPS+ or

SUNTEST XLS +, the connection line

1

 must be connec-

ted since otherwise the SunCool

TM

 will not be turned off

after program completion or if a failure occurs.

1. Plug the connector of the connection line

1

 into the

receptacle

2

at the control panel of the SunCool

TM

.

2. Plug the other connector of the connection line into the

receptacle of the SUNTEST CPS+ / XLS+

3

at the

rear of the unit.

3. In the main menu of the SUNTEST unit's program con-

trol, press button "4" and select "cooling unit".

5.4.2 Installing the dummy plug:

 NOTE:

The SunCool

TM

can not be operated without the dummy

plug

4

.

1. Insert the dummy plug

4

 into the connection socket

on the control panel of the SunCool

TM

2

.

4.6

Connection to an aspiration system

For removing the exhaust air, the chiller can be connected to
an on-site, corrosion-resistant aspiration system.
A baffle is available for the connection to the on-site aspirati-
on system (see chapter  5, "Accessories").

CAUTION - Freeze-up of the SunCool

TM

:

The aspiration system must have a minimum perfor-
mance via the volume flow of the SunCool

TM

 (see

"Specifications"). If the performance is lower than
specified, the SunCool

TM

 may freeze up.

Check the performance of the aspiration system.

Do not connect the unit to an aspiration system whose
performance is lower than specified.
