Troubleshooting

SunCool does not start up

The unit is not connected to the mains 
supply.

Check the mains supply connection.

The connection line is not properly 

attached.

Check the connection line or connect it 

as described in section 4.5.

The dummy plug is not properly 
attached.

Check the dummy plug or connect it as 
described in section 4.5. 

The mains supply fuse is faulty.

Check the mains supply fuse.

SunCool switches off or 
cooling performance is reduced.

The ventilation openings are blocked.

Clear the ventilation openings.

The ventilation openings or the air filter 

are dirty.

Clean the ventilation openings and the 

air filter as described in section 7.2.

The ambient temperature is below 18 °C 
(SunCool does not start up).

Heat the operating rooms to a 
temperature of 22 °C.

The refrigerant system is leaking.

Contact Technical Service.

The fan does not rotate.

Turn the fan on as described in section 

5.2.

The connection hose between the 
SUNTEST and the SunCool is too long.

Cut the hose to a length of 100 cm.

The connection hose between the 
SUNTEST and the SunCool is bent.

Check the connection hose.

Water is leaking.

The SunCool is not installed
horizontally.

Position the SunCool horizontally or tilt 
it slightly backward.

The plug in the trough is not installed.

Check/install the trough plug as 
described in section 4.1.

The ambient temperature is above 40 °C 
(excessive formation of condensate).

Slightly tilt the SunCool to empty the 
trough.

Continuous noise during operation.

Malfunction

Contact Technical Service.

Excessive vibration during operation.
