Before carrying out any work, ensure that the general
electrical power supply is switched off.
5 .1 General
5 .1 .1 Characteristics of the electrical power supply
The electrical installation must comply with the
regulations in force.
The electrical connections will only be made when
all of the other assembly operations (attachment,
assembly,...) have been carried out.

The contract taken out with the energy supplier must
be sufficient to cover the power of the heat pump as
well as the sum of the power requirements of all of the
appliances likely to be operated at the same time. If
the power supply is insufficient, check with your energy
supplier the value of the power supply defined in your
contract
Never use electrical sockets for the power supply.
The heat pump must be supplied directly (without
external switch) with power by special protected leads
from the electric panel via 2-pole circuit breakers
specially dedicated to the heat pump: curve C for the
outdoor unit, (see tables page 39 ).
The electrical installation must be equipped with a
differential protection of 30 mA.
This appliance is provided to operate under a nominal
voltage of 230 V (single phase) or 400 V (three phase),
+/- 10%, 50 Hz.
5 .1 .2 General remarks on the electrical connections
It is essential that the phase-neutral polarity is respected
for the electrical connection
Rigid wires are preferable for fixed installations,
particularly in building.
Tighten the screws of the terminal blocks correctly.
Failure to tighten sufficiently may cause overheating,
faults or even fires.
Clamp the cables with stuffing glands to avoid any
accidental disconnection of the conductive wires.
The earth connection and its continuity must be ensured.
• Connection to the spring terminal blocks:
- The use of ring terminal or the tip is prohibited.
- Always select a rigid wire that complies with the
prevailing standards.
- Bare the end of the wire over a length of around
25 mm.
- With round nosed pliers, make a loop with a diameter
that corresponds to the terminal's tightening screws.
- Tighten the terminal screw on the loop very firmly.
Unsufficient tightening can cause overheating, leading
to breakdown or even fire.

The use of
ring terminal is
prohibited.
• Connection to the regulation boards:
- Remove the corresponding connector and make the
connection
• Connection to the spring terminal blocks:
- Strip the end of the wire over a length of around
10 mm.
- Push the spring with a screwdriver so that the wire
enters the cage.
- Slide the wire into the orifice provided.
- Remove the screwdriver and check that the wire
remains blocked in the cage, and pull it to check.
