The following items should be checked occasionally for tightness; or if they
have been loosened for maintenance service:
WHEEL NUT TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Bolt Size Tightening Torque
Front M10 x 1.25 85 Nm
Rear M10 x 1.25 85 Nm
Front Wheel Tightening
Front wheel bearing tightness and spindle nut retention are critical component
operations. Service work must be performed by an authorized dealer.
Front and Rear Wheel
Tapered nuts:
Install with tapered side against
wheel
AXLE BOOTS
● Rear Prop Shaft Boots
● Front Axle (CV Joints, 4x4 model) Boots
Check the protective boots for holes or tears. If any damage is found, have
them replaced by an authorized dealer.
