7.10.2 install new Tubing Assembly
1. Take the short end of the hose assembly and push the tube connector into the push in fitting of the waste canister until it
is securely seated.
2. Carefully place the longer part of the tubing into the roller assembly of the pump. (Fig 4) CAUTION – The tubing can
be easily cut or torn. Take care not to pull the tubing against the sharp edges of the outer housing or the latch of the
pump.
3. Pull the tubing up so that the bottom elbow is close to the bottom of the pump. Ensure that the tubing is located
correctly within the roller assembly and that there are no twists or kinks. Then close the latch on the pump. NOTE:
Ensure that the adjustable pinch dial gauges on each side of the latch are opened up to maximum.
4. Place the other end of the tubing into the connector of the chassis unit firmly seated.
5. Test unit for correct operation.
7.11 Replace Water Relay
Tools Needed: Wire Cutters/Scissors

1. Turn off main power and air
supply to unit.
2. Run Air/Water syringe to relieve compressed air in system.
3. Open the cover to the delivery system and locate the water relay valve near the control
block. (Fig. 7.11-A)
4. Make note of the location for the blue water lines and the grey air signal line. Clip all the
tubings close to the barbs.
5. Attach the blue water lines and grey air signal line to the new barb using the provided
sleeves to secure. (Fig. 7.11-C)
6. Use provided Zip Tie to hold the relay in place. (Fig. 7.11-D)
7. Turn main power back on and test handpiece to ensure that there are no leaks.
7.12 Replacing Bulkhead connector
Tools Needed: Phillips head screwdriver, Wire Cutters or scissors, Large Adjustable Wrench

1. Turn off main power and air supply to unit.
2. Run Air/Water syringe to relieve compressed air in system.
3. Locate black bulkhead on
underside of delivery system,
loosen the black nut on bulkhead, and remove connector. (Fig. 7.12-A) (Fig. 7.12-B)
4. From the inside of the cart locate tubing’s connected to the bulkhead and cut all four of them
leaving approximately 5 inches. (Fig. 7.12-C)
