6.2.1.1 Fixation of the Rack
The 19" rack x 40U should be fastened to the ground with the kit of the rack, verifying its
alignment and level.
6.2.1.2 Fastening the Powering Cables
The powering cables should be tied with waxed string and conducted by the column of the
rack to the upper rip of the same one. When these find the ascent conveyor, they should be tied to it
in the lower part of the steps and conducted to the QDF or power supply point intended for the
equipment, always verifying if the protection (fuse or appropriate circuit breaker) is adequate. Do not
use patches on the power supply cables.
6.2.1.3 Fastening the Ethernet Cables
The Ethernet cables should be tied with waxed string and with moderation and conducted
through the column of the rack to its upper rip. When these find the ascent conveyor, they should be
tied to it in the upper part of the steps and conducted to network point.
6.2.1.4 Optical Cables
The optical cables should be conducted through corrugated rubber coated conduits, internally
