Loop Detachment
Follow these 3 Steps
The illustration is an example of a hook with latch. The spreader
bar or stretcher frame might be of a different design.

Place the loop over the latch.

Pull the loop down to force the latch to open.

Make sure the latch closes completely with the loop inside
the hook.

NOTE
• Make sure to align coloured straps so that
both sides match each other in order to
distribute the patient weight evenly, e.g.
yellow strap in-line with yellow strap.
• The loop length alternatives on the straps can
be used to adjust the patient’s position and
comfort, for example shorter loops at the
head end and longer loops at the hip.
• If the patient is not centred on the
Maxi Transfer
sheet, select longer loop
lengths on the side closest to the patient and
shorter loop lengths at the other side.
Method 1 (2 Steps)

Press the latch open.

Remove the loop.

Pull one side of the loop over the hook and latch.
