Lift the patient’s upper body just enough to place the X-ray
image plate under the patient.

Lower the patient.
If necessary, detach the loops and remove the spreader bar
from the patient area.

Perform the X-ray.
10 Lower the spreader bar and reattach the loops.
11 Make sure that all loops are securely attached.
12 Lift the patient’s upper body just enough to remove the
X-ray image plate.
13 Lower the patient.
Detach all loops and move the lift away from the patient.

•
the patient is positioned safely and comfortably,
•
there are no creases or straps under the patient and
•
the reinforcements of the
Maxi Transfer
sheet are
positioned outside the edges of the mattress.

TIPS
Detach the loops on only one side of the spreader
bar to enable the spreader bar to be moved away
from the area to be x-rayed.

WARNING
To avoid injury, make sure all loops are detached
from the hooks before removing the lift.
