Parts Designation/Description
1. Support Surface
The
Maxi Transfer
sheet has a patient side (support
surface) and a bed side but no defined head and foot
end.
Place the
Maxi Transfer
sheet on the bed with the
support surface upwards, towards the patient, and the
other side downwards, towards the mattress, so straps
are covered by the side valances.
The support surface provides the patient with support
during supine lifting, repositioning and transfer.
2. Side Valances
The side valances can be folded over the patient to give
increased warmth, comfort and dignity during the
transfer.
3. Reinforcements
The reinforcements are located where the support
surface meets the side valances. The reinforcements
must be placed in line with or outside the mattress edges
to avoid high pressure points on the patient.
4. Product Label
The product label is located on one of the side
valances.
5. Strap with Loops
The straps are attached along the reinforcements. Each
strap has three loop lengths to provide lift height
alternatives. Use the loop length that gives the best
patient support and comfort.
