Purchasing PPV Programs
Adding a VCR Timer to a Purchase
If you did not add a VCR timer when you made the purchase, you can add one to a future
purchase. If the purchase is current, you cannot add a VCR timer. You can however, manually
(impulse recording) record the program. For additional information, refer to Starting Your
VCR on Impulse on page 174.
To add a VCR timer to a future purchase
3 Press the SELECT button and the following
display appears. Use the scroll buttons to
highlight the Cancel Purchase option.
Note: If the set-top box displays the channel
instead of this message, you selected a
purchase for a PPV program that is
currently playing. You may still be able
to cancel the purchase, but you can only
do so with the Purchase Review
preference in the Settings menu as
described in Reviewing/Canceling
Purchases From the Settings Menu,
page 152.
4 Press the A button to accept your entry and cancel the purchase. The program guide
displays, no longer showing the program in yellow.
5 Press the EXIT button to exit the program guide and return to the currently selected
channel.
1 Press the GUIDE button. The program guide displays with the current programming in
the time grid.
2 Press the arrow buttons to highlight the future PPV program you desire to change. (The
purchased PPV programs displays in yellow with the event timer symbol.)
