To unlock content
1 Press the MENU button until the Settings menu displays.
2 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Parental Control preference.
3 Press the right arrow to move to the Option column.
4 Press the numbered buttons to enter the four numbers of your PIN. You now see the
Option column.
5 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Lock Content option.
6 Press the right arrow button. A list of content
locking criteria displays.
Content locking criteria currently selected for locking have an open or closed lock
symbol.
7 To unlock all content locking criteria, select the Clear All option and press the SELECT
button. Go to step 11.
8 To unlock specific content locking criteria, press the up or down arrow button to
highlight the locked rating you want to unlock.
Note: If you select a content header (e.g., violence) for locking, the subordinate violence
ratings will either all lock (if none are selected) or unlock (if any are selected). In
addition, locking a subordinate rating individually will cause all other
subordinate ratings beneath it to lock as well. However,
unlocking a subordinate
rating has no effect on the ratings beneath it.
An open lock symbol indicates
that this content locking criteria is
selected for locking, but parental
control locking is currently off.
A closed lock symbol indicates that
this content locking criteria is selected
for parental control and locking is
currently on.
