Unlocking Channels

This procedure is intended to change the preference selection. If you wish to temporarily 
unlock the channels, you can do so by simply turning off parental control, which permits you 
to access all blocked areas. 

You can deselect channels that you previously selected for locking. To do this, you use the 
Locked Channels option in the Parental Control preference.

To unlock channels

1 Press the MENU button until the Settings menu displays.

2 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Parental Control preference.

3 Press the right arrow to move to the Option column. 

4 Press the numbered buttons to enter the four numbers of your PIN to access parental 

control settings. The message disappears and you see the Option column.

5 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Lock Channels option.

6 Press the right arrow button. A list of channels 

displays.

Channels that are currently selected have an open or closed lock symbol.

7 To unlock all channel locks, select the Clear All option.

An open lock symbol indicates 
that this channel is selected for 
locking, but parental control 
locking is currently off.

A closed lock symbol indicates 
that this channel is selected for 
parental control and locking is 
currently on.
