Unlocking Parental Control With the Settings Menu

1 Press the MENU button until the Settings menu displays.

2 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Parental Control preference. 

3 Press the right arrow to move to the Option 

column. The following message displays:

4 Press the numbered buttons to enter the four numbers of your PIN. You now see the 

Option column.

5 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Locking option.

6 Press the right arrow button to move to the 

Setting column.

7 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Off/Disable or Off/Relock option. 

When you select the Off/Relock option, parental control unlocks, but relocks 
automatically when you turn the set-top box off and then back on. The Off/Disable 
option turns off the Parental Control until it is manually turned back on.

8 Press the SELECT button. This unlocks parental control.

9 To exit the Settings menu, press the EXIT button.
