•

Check gudgeon pin small end clearance.

Standard clearance: 0.015 ÷ 0.029 mm

•

Measure thrust surface diameter on piston.

Standard diameter: Ø 15.001 ÷ 15.006 mm

•

Calculate gudgeon pin-piston clearance.

Standard clearance: 0.001 ÷ 0.010 mm

NOTE

Gudgeon pin seats have lubrication ducts. Take di-

ameter reading along piston axis.

•

Measure piston outer diameter (B1 and B2) at right an-
gles to the gudgeon pin axis.

•

Take reading in the position shown in the figure:
