Performing a Run

Loading Samples in the Veriti

™

60-Well Thermal Cycler

There is no need to use mineral oil or glycerine in the sample wells or as a vapor
barrier over the PCR reaction mixture in the tubes. The GeneAmp

Thin-Walled

Reaction Tubes fit tightly in the wells, and the heated cover exerts an even pressure
on all tubes, eliminating condensation on the tubes.

1. Pipette the samples into the reaction tubes.

2. Cap the tubes.

3. Place the GeneAmp

Thin-Walled Reaction Tubes with Flat or Domed Caps

(0.5 mL) onto the sample block(s).

4. Place the GeneAmp

Thermal Isolation Frame around the sample block(s).

5. Close the heated cover.
