Upgrading System Firmware

About the

Upgrade

If Applied Biosystems provides a new version of the firmware for the Veriti Thermal
Cycler, you may be required to load the new firmware on the instrument.

You will need a USB drive and, if your instrument requires login, Administrator
access to upgrade the firmware.

IMPORTANT!

You cannot upgrade the firmware while a run is in progress.

Upgrading the

1. Determine the version number of the existing firmware from the About the

Instrument screen.

a. Open the About the Instrument screen:
