Severe electrical shock can
result from operating the Veriti Thermal Cycler without its instrument panels in
place. Do not remove instrument panels. High-voltage contacts are exposed when
instrument panels are removed from the instrument.
Fuses
FIRE HAZARD.
Improper fuses or high-voltage supply can
damage the instrument wiring system and cause a fire. Before turning on the
instrument, verify that the fuses are properly installed and that the instrument voltage
matches the power supply in your laboratory.
FIRE HAZARD.
For continued protection against the risk of
fire, replace fuses only with fuses of the type and rating specified for the instrument.
