Utilities
Viewing Instrument Statistics
The instrument records information about how it has been used. You can view this
information.
1. In the Main Menu screen, touch
Tools Menu
.
2. In the Tools Menu screen, touch
Show Statistics
.
The following statistics are shown:
•
Total Cycles for Block(s)
– The total number of cycles the instrument has
performed over its lifetime.
•
Total Degrees for Block(s)
– The total degrees the blocks) have climbed
over their lifetime. For example, if the sample block(s) were heated from
10 degrees to 30 degrees, for 3 cycles, the total degrees would be 60.

3. When you finish, touch
Done
to return to the Tools Menu screen.
Restoring the Factory Settings
You can reset the instrument to the default values for all instrument settings. When
you do this, the following are lost:
• All run methods except the predefined methods listed in
• Any users and their custom folders
• The instrument name and IP address
• Any changes to time-outs, block idle temperatures, security settings, printer
settings, and any shortcuts to methods or functions
1. Log in as a user with Administrator access.
2. In the Main Menu screen, touch
Settings Menu
.
3. In the Settings Menu screen, touch
Admin Menu
.
