Getting Started

Enabled
to turn the option on. If this is disabled, the temperature for the
cover and/or block(s) is not maintained by the instrument and will
eventually come to room temperature.

the cover must be between 4 and 99

Setting
Time-Outs
1. In the Main Menu screen, touch
Settings Menu
.
2. In the Settings Menu screen, touch
Set
Time-outs.
3. In the Set Time-Outs screen, touch
Time-out,
then enter the duration.
• Default Standby Time-Out sets the duration that the instrument is idle
before the touchscreen is turned off. Enter a duration of
00:00
if you do not
want the instrument to turn off the touchscreen.
• Default Pause Duration sets the duration the instrument pauses, after you
touch Pause during a run.
4. Touch
Done
, then
OK
to save your changes and return to the Settings Menu
screen.
Configuring Main
Menu Shortcuts
to Functions
You can add buttons to the Main Menu screen that allow you to go directly to various
instrument functions. When login is required, each user can configure his or her own
shortcut buttons; otherwise the shortcut buttons are displayed for all instrument
users.
You can also create shortcuts to run methods (see
