Use only genuine spares recommended by the engine Manufacturer.
Use only filters with the following specifications:
Filtering surface >= 4300 cm²
Average filtering dimension 26 μm
Exhaust oil must be recycled and not wasted in the environment. You MUST collect it through
authorised centres according to the laws in force in the Country.

R754IE4 / R754TE4 Engine oil dilution

Reset “Oil dilution calculation”
Eevery time you replace engine oil, you MUST reset the function “Oil dilution calculation” of the
engine ECU.
Reset can be done through VM diagnosis tool by authorized service.
Reset can also be done manually from the operator, following these steps:
1)
Engine off
2)
Put throttle to minimum (0%)
3)
Turn ignition key ON, keep engine off
4)
Repeat the following steps 5 times
5)
Put throttle to maximum (100%), wait 3 seconds
6)
Put throttle to mimum (0%), wait 3 seconds
CHECK: if the procedure has been correctly performed, the lamp “Engine oil pressure” on main instrument
will blink 3 times.
This procedure forces the engine ECU to reset the timer which checks the oil dilution.
