UDM-0808-SIG, UDM-RX02N and UDM-ABB-8-SIG Operation /Reference Guide
UDM Control Page
Select Control from the Admin menu to access the UDM Control page (FIG. 17). The options on this page
allow commands to be directly entered and replies (notifications) to be displayed for the UDM-0808-SIG hub
and connected UDM-RX02N receivers. This page provides a rudimentary control method if there is no master
connection.
Sending Commands to the UDM-0808-SIG
1.
Select Hub from the Device drop-down menu.
2.
Select Port 1 from the Port drop-down.
3.
Type a send command into the Commands window.
4.
Click the Accept button to send the command.
5.
Click the Refresh button to receive new replies (notifications). New replies are added to the bottom of the
list. Press the Clear button to clear the Replies window.
Sending Commands to a Connected UDM-RX02N
1.
Select the target receiver (RX1 - RX8) from the Device drop-down menu.
2.
Check the Send as string option.
3.
Select the appropriate port on the RX02N to receive the command(s):
Port 1 - SEND_COMMANDS/LEVELS
Port 2 - SERIAL (RS232) SEND_COMMANDS
Port 3 - IR SEND_COMMANDS
4.
Type a send command into the Commands window.
5.
Click the Accept button to send the command.
6.
Click the Refresh button to receive new replies (notifications). New replies are added to the bottom of the
list. Press the Clear button to clear the Replies window.
