(2) -9. Removing the panel unit
WARNING

Before detaching and installing the panel unit, disconnect the input cable of the source power
supply on the factory side of the welding power supply input. If the panel unit is detached with
the input cable connected, an electric shock may occur.
z
To detach and use the panel unit, use the optional input/output signal cable.
z
Fix the connecting part of the input/output signal cable with a screw attached to the connector.
z
Fix the input/output signal cable not to damage it.
z
Do not use a deteriorated or damaged input/output signal cable.
If a cable with a deteriorated or damaged cover is used, malfunction or error may occur.
IMPORTANT
z
To avoid a malfunction due to noise, do not remove the attached ferrite coil. Also, do not
bundle the input cable together with the torch cable.
In the following, how to remove the panel unit will be described.
According to the following procedure, connect the optional input/output signal cable to the connector
from which the panel unit has been detached.
1. Disconnect the input cable of the source power supply on the factory side of the
welding power supply input.
2. Remove four screws fixing the front cover.
