Port-Based VLAN Configuration
A port-based VLAN is a group of ports on the switch that form a logical
Ethernet segment. This type of VLAN is independent of the header
information including VLAN tags in a frame.
You can create and delete port-based VLANs by following the procedures
in the following sections:
“Create a Port-Based VLAN”
“Modify a Port-Based VLAN” on page 175
“Delete a Port-Based VLAN” on page 176
Create a Port-
Based VLAN
To create a port-based VLAN, perform the following procedure:
1. From the main menu on the left side of the page, select
Bridge
.
The
Bridge
folder expands.
2. From the
Bridge
folder, select
VLAN
.
The
VLAN
folder expands.
3. From the
VLAN
folder, select
Port-Based VLAN
.
