Make sure that the rail top has the supine access tops installed,
and not the sling. If necessary, remove the sling and install two
supine access tops. Refer to “Install the Prone Support Set (A-
71300) on the Rail Top” on page 32.
b.
At each end of the rail top, install a cross
pin into the prone bracket, through the
rail top connector assembly, and the
other side of the prone bracket. Make
sure that the cross pins that secure the
rail top have the drop-lock end down.
WARNING:
Do not use the rail top with the prone support set without the cross pins
installed correctly through the prone bracket. To do so could cause
patient fall, injury, or equipment damage.
c.
Make sure the drop lock on the end of the cross pin moves to the
side to hold the support top in position.
4.
Look at the display, and make sure the
Tilt Level
indicator and the
Brakes Locked
indicator are
green
.
5.
Align the prone support pads with the patient’s body. Refer to “Head
Plate” on page 35, “Chest Support” on page 34, “Hip and Thigh
Supports” on page 33, and “Supine Access Tops (A-70404)” on
page 35 for placement procedures.
6.
