Install the Lateral Bracket
This assembly is installed instead of the H-brackets or
Advance Pinless H-Brackets to permit the use of a lateral top and rail top
with the prone support set during the same surgical procedure.
1. If necessary, remove the support top and H-brackets or
Advance Pinless H-Bracket (see page 23).
2. Make sure the brakes on the Table are locked (the
Locked indicator on the Table display is green ).
3. Install the main support bracket so that
the open end is up.
a. Make sure that the hook feature of
the main support bracket is over the
pin on the bowtie, then turn the
main support bracket until the cross-
pin hole in the main support bracket
aligns with the cross-pin hole in the
bowtie.
b. Insert the cross pin into the main
support bracket, through the bowtie, and through the other end
of the main support bracket.
WARNING:
Do not use the Lateral-to-Prone assembly without the cross pin installed
correctly. To do so could cause patient fall, injury, or equipment damage.
c. Make sure the drop lock on the end of
the cross pin moves to the side to hold
the H-bracket in position.
d. Repeat Step a through Step c at the
other end of the table.
